Awareness workshop/ Training program for cold Storage Operators/ Technicians under the program on Demand Side Energy Efficiency in Integrated Cold Chain Sector
The Power Department a State Designated Agency, Government of Sikkim organized a Workshop and Training Program for Cold Storage funded by Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) on October 11th 2023. The workshop and training program featured presentations by technical experts from Cenergist, a leading name in the field of Energy Efficiency. They highlighted on the integrated cold chain management sector in India as it has emerged as a pivotal player in revolutionizing the country’s agricultural supply chains. As India grapples with the challenges of post-harvest losses, inefficient logistics, and a rapidly growing population, the cold chain industry plays a crucial role in preserving the quality and extending the shelf life of perishable goods.
